Silicon Valley Community is the non-profit extension of Ding Ding TV – The voice of Silicon Valley Asian Americans. We have a long and unique history of serving the community.

We are passionate about connecting filmmakers and their stories, community leaders and their dreams, to people and communities to foster more dialogues about inclusiveness and social equity.

Our studio has been a community events center since 2011, and we have hosted nearly 100 events each year. Our events have empowered the AAPI community by changing hearts and minds, inspiring empathy, and meaningful social action.

OUR PROUD HISTORY

2009

2009, Started Innovation Dialog TV Show on KCNS and KTSF. Released weekly newsletter in English and Chinese.

2010

2010, Live-streamed American Cancer Society Relay for life onsite for 12 hrs with 20,000+ online audience.

2011

2011, Organized Silicon Valley Food & Art Festival in Cupertino with 3000 attendees. Ding Ding TV Community Hub.

2012

2012, Ding Ding TV launched a monthly forum connecting startups with investors, produced 97 videos, attracted 700+ entrepreneurs, and won a distinguished award.

2013

2013, Launched“Battle Silicon” a multicultural startup  show, forming a 500+ member club, and won the best TV show of 2013 from Northern California Chinese Media Association.

2014

2014, Ding Ding TV won Best New Media, expanded “Innovation Dialog,” launched movie nights, and live-streamed leadership events.

2015

2015, The festival drew 5000+ attendees, 30+ restaurants, and 200+ artists performing, we hosted business forums, and won the Business of the Year award.

2016

2016, Hosted Entrepreneurs Festival with 2,000+ attendees, 150 speakers, extensive media coverage, and first to cover World AG Expo.

2017

2017, Launched Civic Leadership Forum for diverse leaders to discuss civic issues in Silicon Valley quarterly.

2019

2019, Themed Entrepreneurs Festival on social entrepreneurship, co-organized National Civic Leadership Forum, and held Capitol Hill press conference.

2020

2020, Promoted Census, held “Light The Candle In The Darkness” COVID-19 video contest, ran youth camps, and trained 42 community ambassadors.

2021

2021, Launched Clubhouse clubs, hosted major forums, including “Stop Asian Hate,” and workshops improving parent-teen communication, drawing hundreds.

2022

2022 Produced “All of Us Belong Right Here” – 1st Music Video to Bring Community Together and Stop Hate, Organized 4 Civic Leaderships Forums Silicon Valley Dialog between Asian & Black Community, Built a biggest Asian Group on Clubhouse.

2023

2023 Started Documentary film ” Builders of Silicon Dream,” Won the 1st place at Santa Clara Parade, Organized 1st Lunar New Year Together Silicon Valley.

2024

2024 Organized Asian American Stories Video Contest.
